Gamal El Soudi

Chairman & Visionary Leader

Gamal El Soudi began trading at 15, holds a Commerce degree, and has 26+ years of experience. He founded El Soudi for Sanitary Ware & Ceramics (1980), EG Paper (2006), and acquired Carta Misr (2019), strengthening his group in the paper industry. He also chairs the Paper & Cardboard Division at the Egyptian Federation of Industries. His son, Mohamed El Soudi, continues the family legacy.

Mohamed El Soudi, a Chemical Engineering graduate from the British University in Egypt, joined EG Paper in 2012. He advanced from R&D and Factory Manager to Vice Chairman (2019) and CEO of El Soudi Group (2022), leading strategic planning and operations to drive growth in the paper industry.

EG PAPER : A Legacy of Innovation and Sustainability

In 2006, Gamal El Soudi founded EG Paper in AlKhanka, Qaluibeya, driven by a vision to support local development and create employment opportunities. Launched with 100% Egyptian capital on 65,000 sqm, production began in 2010, marking a key milestone in El Soudi for Paper’s journey.

CARTA MISR : A Beacon of Excellence in the Paper

Carta Misr, founded in 2000 and fully acquired by El Soudi for Paper in 2019, is a leading packaging paper producer based in 6th October City. Under Gamal El Soudi’s leadership, the company was modernized and upgraded, expanding product range and market reach.
